    Yes, I still use MP in the livibg room with DVB-S2 tuner cards.
    Now I'd like to be able to see TV on the home-cinema room , but as as tiny hardware as possible,
    Optimal solution would be a Raspberry PI, but I the unholy bloat called windows is not willing. :)
    Without infecting my home with more winbloat in its dedicated VLAN behind firewall;

    Hi.
    Don't expect too much from the Pi, especially in a Home Cinema Room. It is working, but not as nice as wanted. I would go for a J1900 board, twice as expensive as Pi, but more than 10 times faster. You can run OpenElec from an USB stick on this too. But I recommend using a cheap SSD instead...
    Pi can be a solution in Childs Room or sleeping room, but for Big Screen Cinema I never would use it...
