Hi i am looking to install on a client and am wondering what settings i should pick in Mp when i also am using FTR.

I have set it all up correctly in the main server client pc and its all working fine, just had a few problems trying to view tv last week on the client so have done a clean install.

So to watch tv on the client, what should i pick?

Thanks

Robert

    Hi Rob

    You can chose unc path as shares\recordings\timeshifting\playback or use a fixed ip address for a multiseat setup, both are reliable.

    Regarding anything else could you be more specific on what you want.

    Thanks for the reply, what it was is that i couldn't get FTR to playon the client so did a clean OS install and was just checking what i clicked on when installing Mp in that i didn't know weather to click watch Tv or not.

    Steph over at FTR put me straight that i don't select it if using FTR, although still having the same problem of not playing live or recorded tv but i can connect to the sever and ping it from management consol okay

    RobTi,
    have you setup your correct server name in mp client plugins -> FTR TV?
    ...you are running Argus, right?

    :sorry::oops:

    Well its not my fault nobody told me is all the excuse i can give.

    As it was a new setup i didn't have any speakers for my monitor so onboard sound was disabled, hey ho enabled it and tv works.

    Maybe it should be in the wiki if its the right answer, well it all works for me now.

    Thanks for the helpful replies

    Robert
