Please try these to your liking:

    [XMLSkinElement("keepaspectratio")]

    [XMLSkinElement("zoom")]

    [XMLSkinElement("centered")]

If they do not show any effect than the GUIFilmstripControl simply needs to be patched to pass these properties to the embedded GUIImage.
