I'm using Spinsafe Revolve, because the overall look is very nice. However, it's a shame that MediaPortal still has issues with UI Calibration, meaning I can't really get the real 16:9 look on my 16:9 CRT since it's really 4:3 1024x769 that is stretched out by the televison. I use a custom font called Rollout (that is condensed) to make it look a bit better though. But the cover view isn't working due to a bug in the skinengine that nobody but me cares about. :(

I had never any problems when I had a 16:9 32" philips CRT Television...
Are you sure you have checked all your settings? Correct cable? Correct drivers for gfx card? Settings in gfx card?
etc... etc.. Tryed the crop settings in mediaportal, or is just in the menues there is an issue?

Look here for some screensshots of what I'm referreing to:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/showpost.php?p=138227&postcount=128

Btw, I know that these shots are from a long time ago, but the issues are still here. Actually, from a few revisions back, I can't shrink the vertical size of the GUI as much as before meaning I can't see the whole GUI.

Edit: I'm using S-Video from my NVIDA card BTW.

That looks odd, and does not seem like a mediaportal issue, most likely your gfx card.
Have you tryed any other drivers? Perhaps try the omegadrivers.

I will try the omegadrivers. I've used them for my ATI card and haven't realized that they also did drivers for NVIDIA cards. However, I've filed a bug report on this matter to the Mediaportal coders, but they haven't acknowledged it. Some other users have the same problem, but as you say, it COULD be a driver issue.

    Thanks

I'm using Revision but currently have tried X-Face.

    Pro Revision:
    -clear looks
-position and size of info elements in full size tv/video very good

    Pro X-Face
    -more eye candy

Voted for Revision, but have not yet made up my mind. :)

Using revision too. I love the clean looks. I was very dissapointed in x-face cause of all the junk in it. :/
