I think my moving pictures problems might be media portal core framework problems.
Should 1.0.0 RC4 be displayed on the media portal core startup splash screen (the one where is says loading fonts etc)? Mine says 1.0.0 RC2.
However, my media portal configuration program says 1.0.0 RC4.
Can someone verify if their RC4 installation shows RC4 at the core splash screen?

Basically I need to disable UAC in vista and try running the cleanup script here:
