Since i have installed MP v1.0 i have the problem with playing dvd video's. When i start playing a video_ts map, the movie starts. when i press the info button on my remote, i get the time played and the time to go on top of the screen, instead of the menu for changing subtitles etc.

The biggest problem starts when i press the STOP BUTTON. the movie stops, but instead of getting back in the MP video menu, the screen stays black and i have to press Alt-F4 to end MP and start all over.

Does anyone know what this can be?
I need help!!

Chances are this was ripped as "Movie only", this causes end of movie to not go back to dvd menu.

Please correct me if i am wrong.

I've downloaded several dvd's, and they all played with MPv1.0rc4. Some dvd's have menus, some don't! Maybe i understand you wrong, but i think the movies i've got are fine. The problem doesn't appear at the end of the movie, but everytime i press the stop button. Hope you can help.

If I understand the writer correctly then I have the same problem.

When playing such a DVD file or ISO for that matter, at the end of the movie the screen gets black but doesn't return to the MP start screen.

I have ripped all my movies with movie only options, so no sollution?

Think i found the "solution" myself. selected Enhanced video renderer, because i'm using Netframe 3.5 and vista...... I solved the problem by selecting VMR9 instead of EVR in MP config.
