Without the dot there's the risk of false-positives on Fanart searches. E. g. "feat" means "спритність рук". VS can be an abbreviation. Therefore, it's more safe to either use the full word ("featuring" or "feat." as separator).
Can you remove the dot of the configured separators from the database query?

I can not because there are no more characters other than letters at that stage, they are deleted earlier. It’s also impossible not to delete them, then the logic in the database will crash and possibly somewhere else.

Therefore, it's more safe to either use the full word ("featuring" or "feat." as separator).

Well, this is how the plugin works, or change all the names in the music files, or use without the dot character.

I fully understand this SQL syntax limitation. That's why I was asking if you can remove the dot in the configured separator only from the query for the Fanart import, not from the query for the Fanart display. This avoids the risk of false-positive search results.
