Dots are allowed, but they can be used in other parts of the artist’s analysis, for example, when searching for artists on websites, but they are not used when accessing the database, this is the FH mechanism. Mechanism is one, but two-faced as a two-faced Janus.
This is both good and bad, but the plugin is built in this way. It has a function that works with the database and with files, and based on this function, keys are generated in the database, it can be changed, but it is already very complicated and is currently 99% debugged, I would not want to change it because you can break not only the import into the database from local files, but in general everything, because It is used everywhere.
