When recorder runs out of diskspace - Misspelled error message? (1 Viewer)

First of all....

Mediaportal 1.0 RC1 is really something else.... I have been running alot of the SVN's but for me it was the the installer that actually solve my problems.

Had a stabel Mediaportal installation during my initial attempts. It was the MS BDA hotfix that was overwritten by the MS update . The installer caught this and thing have been running smoother and more stable than ever!!! Strange thing I didn't find this problem...

Using: Fire-DTV with latest firmware/BDA drivers.

Is the below error message correct or should it be... "Unable to write file:" .......
Or does it in fact mean something else ???

I think it's due to the fact i'm runnning out of diskspace..

After this happens....

I tried restarting the tv server that apeared hung by running the "TV Server Config" binary.. It stated tv server was not running and I pressed "start tv server services" wait 10 sec and then

TV server service fails to start...

Something needs to be restarted...

Nobody with any suggestion???

Happened today again... TV server is not repsondning from either singleseat pc or laptop with tv-client setup...

Trying to stop tv-server service fails... just hangning...


After that when I try to run media portal... offcourse the tv part is not working and askes me for the ip address to the tv server.....

seems like the error occurs there.

i have to admit that i never seen such. i will however sum up all these "strange error threads" which point to some feature for the developers, so they can have a look.

This is this mornings log files from my laptop... I have been trying to watch the morning news 4 days in a row... Still no news.. But some tapping on my computer atleast ...

The logfiles does not indicate any error... more of a waitining for something to happen...

Maybe a timeout should be put in place to handle theese situations.. and go back to main menu...

On the server trying to check my tv server config...

Going to the "recordind settings" actually freeze/hangs the tv server config process.......

One thing is that I am doing back-to-back recordnings on different channels with pre/post record times = 0

Which might trigger some problem if not handled correctly.......

Maybe I should use ateleast 1 minute???? So that the next recodning wont start before finnishing the prior one....

I started the tv server config up and played around with it... going directly into the recording settings works.....

BUT.... EVERY TIME I make any changes in the plugin tab it hangs... Either checking a new option or unchecking...

Keep in mind that my tv server services might still be hanging as described erlier....

Actually after doing changed in the plugin section going to "manual control" also hangs the tv server config gui...

When the TV server is "hanging" it almost look like it will be possible to use manual control but when I press start timeshifting no stream is put out and the tv server config gui hangs....
