Where are the sattelite scans memory kept (1 Viewer)

Hi i need to do a clean OS instal and roll back from the alpha to the current stable release of Mp. i don't mind losing everything except my sattelite scans as its a pain to try and find all the sats again.

So can anyone tell me is there anything i can copy and paste to keep these then install them again.

Just thinking about this i don't need to roll back Mediaportal if its easier i can keep the alpha version as long as i have the positions

Hi.
Inside the TV Server Configuration Util there is an menu entry called "Export/Import". There you can export and later re- import some of the TV Server Settings including channels and groups. So no need to do a satellite rescan after clean install...

Thanks so this will remember the positions so if i leave the sat on 1W and reinstall and import this file then i will have all the positions back again when i tel it i am on 1W, as long as i dont reposition the sat, not bothered too much about channels i can rescan them as long as i have all the sat positions

I only have a single SAT Position (19.2 E) so I'm not sure, but I never had to adjust something like that after Import...

Thanks i have around a dozen different positions stored and wouldn't like to have to try and redo them again

Hi.
Do a simple test. Make a backup of your whole Windows Installation (Arconis, Paragon,...) then export your settings, uninstall MP install it again and simply import your settings. Then you know for sure. If the settings are not be correct you have the image of your "old" system back in minutes...
