    Remember Guys the world is getting smaller and literally anyone will post to Europe, but funnily enough they steer clear of Africa. Anyone got a home for Thirty Million, just send me the bank arrangement Fee :lol:

    Yes, I know one can get them there but I feels kinda silly to have to get the european version from the UK when I'm undoubtedly live in Europe.

    Anyways, hopefully this is not a problem anymore since the version that comes with the TV-card should be the right one. I'll get it today so I'll soon know for sure.

    Concerning the functions connected to the coloured buttons, is there any way to get them even if I get a remote without the buttons?

    To answer this question, you can always download HIP (www.byremote.com.au/hip) and use it to program the keystrokes for those actions into other (existing) buttons on the non-Euro MCE remote - for example, you could assign the keystroke 'x' (to change aspect ratios) to the "Guide" key. The only drawback is remembering which function you've assigned to which key!

    the buutons can be mapped as follows:

    Red = X
    Green = H
    Yellow = Right Click
    Blue = S

    If the remote you get has an option to customise configuration then just map the above. If not, then as above you can usually use HIP to remap almost any remote.

    Well, good news! The remote I got with the TV-card actually was a Euro-version, allthough not a backlit one. So, I got what I wanted.
