Where's Ghostbusters? (1 Viewer)

When watching movies and DVDs, and say there's one guy who walks fast or running, he seems to leave a trail of himself behind him. I think it's called ghosting.

I'm using Nvidia PureVideo and the newest Divx and Xvid codecs.

Any way to fix this?


I'm running in 1360x768 from a ATI Radeon x1600 card, DVI to the PC hole( don't know if its called RGB) of my 32" LCD (Samsung LE32T51BX)

have a look for a setting in the configuration of MP , under general, there is one called Enable Directx Exclusive mode or something along those lines, see if its got a tick in it, if it hasn't tick it and see if that resolves your problem which it should.

Umm is it ghosting because of software or is it from the LCD TV?

I know the running scenes can look a little blurred on mine.

The Directx Exclusive mode was already ticked

Fixed it by turning De-Interlace Control to Automatic instead of Smart in Nvidia PureVideo properties
