<li data-xf-list-type="ul">Copied over the file xmltv.dtd into same directory (on Vista it is residing in c:\Programdata\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportal\xmltv)</li>
<li data-xf-list-type="ul">From a command prompt in this same directory execute once &quot;mc2xm -c be -g &lt;postcode&gt; -o tvguide.xml&quot; 
In my case (Brussels) this would be mc2xm -c be -g 1050 -o tvguide.xml</li>
<li data-xf-list-type="ul">The program will ask you what Lineup you have. Try around a few of the options, I decided to go for Unmapped Digital Cable, but you choose for yourself</li>
<li data-xf-list-type="ul">You should now have a TVGuide with all possible channels</li>
<li data-xf-list-type="ul">To shorten this liste, use notepad, create a file &quot;mc2xml.chl&quot; and copie inside the names of the channels you want to keep (the rest will be discarded). Make sure you copy the exact description names from the tvguide.xml. Every channel has several names, I decided to go for the easy version.</li>
<li data-xf-list-type="ul">Now you can the program again, as it will have made &quot;configuration files&quot;, you do not need to specify everything again. To force to redownload all data, I use &quot;mc2xm -f -o tvguide.xml&quot;</li>
