I am trying to configure remote to work with MediaPortal but i have no idea what type of remote is. First i though it is MCE remote, but now it seems more like 45-button hauppauge remote, which would make sense because i have hauppauge card inside my computer. I got both card and remote bundled with my computer.

Remote works without problems in windows media center, i didn't have to install any drivers. Just plugged in IR receiver and it worked.

Closest i was able to get in mediaportal, was using general HID. Most buttons like play, pause were working. But some buttons like guide and teletext were still not functional.

Any idea which type of remote would be that and if it's supported in MediaPortal?

I tried to tick MCE remote and didnt worked.

Also i tried to install hauppauge drivers and ticked hauppauge remote, but also didn't worked. Are these drivers even working on Win7? because there is no IR.exe in my process list which was suposed to be.

It looks pretty much the same as mine. My remote came with a Hauppauage 2200 HVR card. It is a MCE remote, with a USB receiver. In the config I use a MCE remote.
