After a long and troublesome odyssey, which saw me finally succeed making Mediaportal, my Pinnacle 310i and my TV work together nicely… I encountered a last problem: while I’m watching on my television the output of my computer, I see on the screen (of my tv) many little white horizontal rows blinking across the screen, up and down.
While those rows are almost invisible inside during the day in a light room, they turn out being really annoying in a dark room.
Plus I have to admit I’m quite inexperienced in the Hi-Fi sector… and I’m really scared those white lines could damage my television somehow :(

My current setup is formed by: Geforce 6800 TV-Out -> S-Video cable -> TV.
I remember I was used to have the same kind of problem with my previous videocard, which I solved using a Composite video cable since that old good geforce had both the ports.

Anyone has an idea what kind of problem am I facing?
Thank you in advance :D

PS
Hope this is the right section to ask, couldn't find a better one :(
