White Screen when starting MP (1 Viewer)

When I start MP (does not matter if fullscreen or not) the only things I can see is the non selected text parts and time. All textures are completely missing. First times I used MP everything worked fine but after viewing some of my pictures I encountered a weird problem. MP displayed two pictures completely white and then the screen turned black. After pressing Alt-F4 to get back to windows I tried to restart and got the white screen with some text. After rebooting the computer the problem is still there. Therefore I reinstalled the application and it seemed to work fine. Viewed some other pictures on a different harddrive and got the same problem. The problem occours after about 20 seconds.

Anybody got any ideas what the problem might be?

Tell me if I missed something. Attached the logs.

I am not confident that this will solve your problem, but just for kicks (I did not find anything else but string-errors in log):
Try deleting skin cache, found C:\Program\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache [the skin you use, pref. B2/B2w]
Start MP. New cache will be built

Yup, solved the white screen problem, strangely enough I cannot provoke the error anymore can't see why.

Welcome to MP olafett

Cannot see anything relating to a error in logs.

If you go to c\programfiles\teammediaportal\mediaportal\cache folder aand delete the skin file there, can you restart MP ok.

Also in the mediaportal folder is MPTestTool2, run that and repeat the steps that produced the problem, post the new logs.

Paranoid Delusion: Thank you! Yeah, after deleting the cached files it works fine.

Managed to get a white screen again, just took a few more images this time, as you see I attached the Test Tool log files.

Could you try using in MP config\general\thumbnails "create only small thumbs" for the pictures setting.

White screen since several installations

I also have a white screen with every installation I did on my computer. I even tried it on other computers, but got the same. I am trying to run/instal Media Portal for about 1 year now. Can anyone help? I tried all of the above: cannot find the cash map, did updates on all hardware controllers... I could not use the programm so it is a clean one. eventually I installed other skins to test if these work, but the screen stays blank. When mousing I can see the functions are working, but white on white is hard to see.......
