This has no doubt been flogged to death but I feel compelled to ask. Most other media players whether hardware or software can play ISO files be they DVD or BR right out of the box. Why is it so hard to get MediaPortal to simply play these files without adding an emulator.? I installed moving pictures (it is an exe after all) and cannot find it anywhere. As it gives no choice where to install, I have no idea where it did install. There is also no mention of it's existence to enable me to uninstall either. And there is no mention of it within MP. Not even sure what it does apart from helping with but not actually playing DVD's. I tried using Daemontools and set it so when I clicked on an .iso file it opened the program but this just locks up MP. I am at a loss and I did search the forum but nothing that made sense came up. Sorry for the rant but it is taking forever to get MP up and running, it was hard enough getting my TV card to work through it. Anyone know if there is a simple way to just double click an iso file and have it run like a regular video file. Thanks
