Why I still use MCE2005 over MP 0.2.2.0 (2 Viewers)

This thread wasn't meant to help me or anyone else with the specifics of getting the stuff working. With enough time, patience, forum browsing and maybe a couple requests for assistance/clarification, I'm sure that I can get the thing working. I was simply making a plea for this functionality to be added as part of the official MP distribution.

and-81, I have to agree with Spragleknas and his apparent assertion that you should be a member of the MP team. In the meantime, I'd be happy to volunteer to be a tester and send log files and the like.

Like I said, I'll give it all a try again soon and let you guys know.

I tried port #2 with the MCE Replacement Plugin, but like you I was really frustrated by that point and probably missed something. I'll give it a whirl again in a couple weeks when I get back from vacation.

Yeah, you need to try it again. It worked for me. I think I posted somewhere in forums what I had to do to make it work - there were couple of extra things I had to do, but it worked after.
