Hi

When I worked with the TV4Play Util I notice some of the videos on the tv4play.se site needed the widevine optimizer plugin, from google, to be installed. If I understand it correctly it's a DRM and dynamic adaptive streaming technology.

When I try to play such a video Online videos shows picture for some 10-20 second then freezing. The content keeps downloading though.

Does anyone else bumped into widevine on any other site? And is it possible to play this content with the online videos player? Is this something the mpurlsourcefilter could support?

Not much usefull information from me, is it something I could do?

To find the url to videos on TV4Play you use this url: http://prima.tv4play.se/api/mobil/asset/{id}/play (or http://premium.tv4play.se/api/mobil/asset/{id}/play) where {id} is the video id

Can you make Fiddler dump of communication from web page? Be sure, that you clear cache before dump (to force your browser to download everything what is needed). Let it go for few fragments (cca 10 - 15) of video for better analysis.

I've made a quite big dump of this page: http://www.tv4play.se/program/elementary?video_id=2453200 . There's not much of body content that comes from the server, some kind of tunneling between player/plugin <-> server maybe.

I haven't got premium any more so there's some ads to in the dump. The actual content play approximately between this line numbers:

First site loading + ads
~145 - ~220 Content
Ads
~340 - ~385 Content
Ads
Then I closed the browser

Of course there could be other widevine media optimizer™ traffic while the ads where playing.

Unfortunately, it's same technology as Adobe FlashAccess or MS PlayReady, so without any chance to decrypt stream.
