Sorry, I do not understand.
If I want to use wifireote plugin, do I need to have at wifi adapter i my HTPC, or can I connect HTPC to a router (with wifi) by a cabel.
My HTPC do not have a wifi adapter.

It is really LAN remote. You do not necessarily need wifi but it is a catchy name. If you install the plugin you can then control MP from another computer with the demo client or Ampdriod(Android Device) or CoachPotato(iOS Device).

What I want is to remote control my HTPC from my Android phone.
If I install wifiremote as plugin to MP and Ampdriod on my phone. It is what it takes to or do I need more?

That's enough. Ampdroid is more than just a remote though. You can browse and select content to be played on the HTPC or streamed to the phone. You can find more info in the ampdroid forum.
