Thanks for your suggestion. Probably you're right. I've tried the plugin and it does an incredible job changing smoothly the zoom level BUT mainly in the commercials it crops some of them, some black bars appear when they shouldn't.....well, it's a mess. And I don't really understand the advanced config tb for IFC. Perhaps you can send me a screenshot of your config? just to have a starting point.
The real problem I guess is the providers are sending a 16:9 video into a 4:3 format most of the times. Here in Spain I only know one channel (La Sexta) that sometimes emits in native 16:9 and they advise it as if that was some incredible thing they're doing.......
I suppose it's still some years in the future when the old 4:3 TV's dissapear from people's homes and we have 16:9 for all channels.
