This card of mine was seemingly randomly being unable to tune to DVB-S2 channels.
After this issue bugging me for most of the weekend I noticed that the problem lies in the transponder data. It would scan them on a clean reinstall of media Portal but not after updating the satellite list. I eventually pinpointed The Difference is that the latest data Has the Pilot value set incorrectly for scanning sky HD channels on 28.2°E on the Win TV nova S2. My other DVB-s2 card (TT-3200) didn't seem to care if Pilot was set to on or off, it found the signal and scanned the channels ether way. This was an issue with both 1.0.2 and 1.1.0, I tryed them both looking for an answer.
Does any one know if this is an error on the data that MediaPortal is downloading or just an Issue with my card?
