Have you tried different output formats eg RGB over YCbCr?I've just discovered the recent MS hotfix didn't actually fix my PC, it was that it reset the PCI speed back to x16. Something in my hardware was causing the speed to be stuck in a lower state, and so it struggled with 4k.
