    Hi all,

I've searched my butt off but as it seems I'm not the only one with the problem but no one (that I found) has a solution, you guys might.

The volume control in vista and up has changed a bit. There now is the ability to change volume levels per app basis. All fine with me except that it is bugging the peep out of me :)
To change the master volume I have to first exit MP to do so (if not the volume for mediaportal as app will change) eventhough I have checked in MP config to change the master, vista style. Does not mather were I set those configuration settings too in MP, the behaviour is always the same for me.

I'm on windowsx 7 pro, x64 with latest MP SVN build (january 8)

any tips would really be helpfull. I'm totally stuck with this.

for MCE there is an app called volume tracker it locks master volume to wave volume so they go up and down together
there maybe similar solution for vista/win7, i suggest you google "volume tracker" + vista/win7
