I thought I would finally try Windows 8 now the new preview 8.1 has come out. I like my desktop.
Built a new machine with a fresh install of Windows 8.1 and went to install Mediaportal.
It first needed .Net 3.5 which I installed.
I get to the point of "Start with new Installation now" and when I click next I get this error
Compatibility Mode: Windows 7 (6.1.7600.0)
Sorry, your OS is currently not supported by MediaPortal!
Is this just the install does not recognize the new Win8.1 preview that was just released?
I am running x64 version.
