With MP 1.3.0 now officially supporting Windows 8 the old question returns to 32 or 64 bit. With Windows 7 I found that 32 bit worked best for me, but how are people finding Windows 8? Is there any reason for me to choose 32 over 64? I would prefer 64 and probably will try it today, but I want to what other people have found. I run Windows 8 on my main PC and once customized find it to be a slight improvement to Windows 7. I would ask please keep the Win 7 vs Win 8 out of this as I have am sold on Win 8.

Thanks,
Mark

I've had no issues with W8 x64, that being said the only reason I installed it and not x86 was because I had it on my USB stick. I don't think there's any particular advantage with x64 on a HTPC.

if your System RAM + Video RAM > 4GB then definitely go for 64bit. Otherwise it's user choice, I'd still go with 64bit.
