Windows Antimalware goes nuts when I install (1 Viewer)

I've noticed this in the last couple of releases, and today when I went to install the 1.16.0 Pre Release, that the Antimalware executable goes absolutely nuts when I start the install, I eventually have to go and switch defender off during the install to allow it to complete in an acceptable timeframe. I've read elsewhere that this may be due to a lack of a digital signature, anyone know for sure.
