Microsoft just demonstrated Windows 7 running on ARM, it's only a tech preview, and it's more of a Windows 8 thing then Windows 7. They did not want to talk about wether or not x86 software would "just work" on ARM computers.

If it does not will you support both platforms, or focus only on the x86 one? Would be cool to have a ARM MP2 client.

Would be Soooooooo nice to see MePo on ARM architecture

Then I will definitely look towards Plugcomputer, IGEPv2, Beagleboard or Pandaboard!

    Pandaboard

Can developers please comment on, what the % chances of seing MePo on a ARM if windows 8 will run.

As said, .NET will 99% have a runtime available for ARM. Exterior (native) libraries are the only questionmark in this. It is however possible that MS creates a virtualisation layer that enables x86/x64 code to run on ARM. Or the external libraries will need to be ported/recompiled for ARM.

Emulation would be too slow to handle the directshow filter code. So, only way would be that MS provides possibility to compile all the c++ code to arm as well (it might for example happen that directshow is not supported on ARM at all).
