Windows UpdateControl plugin for MediaPortal v0.4.0

the updated version v0.4.0 of this plugin is ready for downloading.

EDIT: There is a typo error inside the configuration dialog. The option "Show confirmation updates" means "Show confirmation dialogs". I'll fix this with the next version, sorry.

Try it, test it and give feedback. Without any informations about your system and windows update settings I cannot give a valid answer.

I see you understand now the Update API
Two Questions?
How it works the selection / deselection. Do i only need a "cheklistcontrol" instead of "listcontrol" ?
Can also give a little skinning example, please ?

to verify that the plugin is working for different operating systems and configurations, please share your experiences with Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows7 x32/x64 here. This helps me to identify errors and/or inconsistences, which was not tested yet, thx.
Scrounger: You can select/deselect the installation state by clicking the appropriate row, the selection marker can be displayed using normal listcontrol settings (IconXOff, IconYOff, PinIconXOff, PinIconYOff).

Ok, thanks micropolis, here is my final StreamedMP Version
I discovered a bug (Win 7 x32)
1. If you select in the configuration all search options (include software updates, include hidden updates, include not flagged automatic updates), in the gui it shows only the hidden updates.
2. If you select only "include not flaged ..." function, in the gui will shown only the "Windows optional Updates"
3. If you select only "Enable Search options", in the gui will shown only the "Windows important Updates"
4. The Update function inside the gui doesn't work for me, got a faillure message. Is there anywhere a log File taht i can post?

thx for your findings.
In the latest alpha version I'll completely rewritten the search logic and now it works as (you) expected. Please be patient, before publishing this version I want to execute a complete regression test.
