Winlirc...or Event Ghost....or ???? to get my NEC remote working in MP (1 Viewer)

Next thing is to get the remote (an NEC type...supplied with the TBS card) working. I have some ready made .cf files to use in Winlirc, but finding it hard to get even a start.....Event ghost is even more of an anathema to me....any pointers PLEASE!!!!....​

Just realised that I've been posting to the wrong thread!!!
After 'successfully' installing Winlirc...and getting my remote to actually work (But not yet in MP I hasten to add!)
....I'm now getting errors in Mediaportal config...so have included logs, and hope that some kind person out there might take a look?!
