No response in fullscreen video submenu's
I can't get the remote to work in the submenu of fullscreen video.
(bookmark, subtitle..).
These menu's are have the following working keyboard navigation:
navigate - Arrow keys
select - Enter
exit - Esc / Y
I searched the keymap file of mediaportal to files all the ID's that are send to different windows. I programmed the remote buttons equal to the keymap for those keys.
It still doesn't work.
Can anyone help me out :?

Winlirc keeps crashing for me when I apply my settings after remapping buttons for my remote. ANy ideas or do I have to reinstall MP?

Please, post a sample of winlirc.xml so one can write the config file by hand instead of installing MP 0.1.2.0

WinLIRC receive DLL
Hi, I'm trying to use the iTV Media remote controll and WinLIRC with Media Portal, but without success :evil:
By reading the WiKi documentation it seems to be working with the WinLIRC receive DLL, but I coudnt find it on the MP web site.
Can anybody help?

This plugin has not been fully supported by anyone lately. It has not been officially released for the 0.2.X versions of MP. You can however download a recent build and see if it works for you at

I have started to use Media Portal actively again so I may try to get it fully supported and add a few features. It would be great if one of the more active developers would pick it up too...

I am using the old plugin as the implemented SerialUIR driver does not like my remote, but WinLIRC and the plugin do. Unfortunatly there are some features/keys missing in the old plugin so I would appreciate if it was updated 8) .

. Actually I guess it might help if you just take the keymappings from the SerialUIR, put them into the WinLIRC plugin and thats it (if possible and as easy as it sounds).So I am talking about the WinLIRC Receive of course.
