I don't want to use the Hauppauge IR as there's so manybad reviews on it. I can get the IR File Tool to change channels using test but when using WMC to change channels on my DirecTV HR24-200 this error comes up in Event Viewer.

How-to Set Up IR Server Suite with HD-PVR and Media Center is the guide i used except i had to change the file path to match windows 7 in the Happauge software.

Thanks let me know if you need anything else. The only odd thing I've installed is My Movies addin for WMC but i really dont see that causing an IR problem.

Sorry didn't work the logs are attached. You wouldn't happen to know if i need to install the Hauppauge IR32.exe? I haven't thinking this was the replacement. Thank you so much. I was getting ready to ship the Colossus back and go back to my little 150.

IR32.exe is mandatory as it provides the hardware interface for the device.

Installed hauppage ir32.exe and rebooted. No change. Windows thinks it is changing channels but it just doesn't get blasted to the STB. I've attached new logs. Thank you. I don't know if you changed anything but the learn seemed faster and easier this time.
