WMP 11 Installation (1 Viewer)

I am running MP1 under WIndows 7, which includes WMP11. However, I have been running this combination with WMP11 disabled in Programs & Features for many years now.
Because I always forget to reenable WMP before installing an MP update, each new MP installation asks me to install WMP11. For example, I just installed MP 1.20 over 1.18.
Two suggestions:

1. I know it would be a bit more work, but how about checking which OS is being used and, when appropriate, asking the user to enable WMP instead of downloading it?
2. Please fix the message when MP installation is closed. If I close the dialog which asks me to install WMP instead of clicking continue, the MP installer reports success upon termination, even though it hasn't installed anything.

I have now upgraded to MP 1.20 by enabling WMP before installing and disabling it afterwards. So far, everything appears to work as expected.
