Hi.

Is any of you guys using win 7 x64?

I'm using WOLPowerManager on Win7 x64 without any issues. Maybe you should delete your wolpowermanager.xml file in Program Data\TeamMediaportal\Mediaportal folder and start plugin config from scratch.

Hi Lehmden,

thanks for your reply. Just did what you suggested. I removed the plugin with the extension installer and then mannualy removed the xml-file. I then reinstalled the plugin with exactly the same results as before.

Try to delete xml file without uninstalling plugin. I think there is something missing on your system what is default active in Plugin.
BTW, what happens if you simply click "weiter"?

Hi.

Did what you said. Doesn't help. When i click on "weiter" nothing happens at all. When i click on "beenden" Mediaportal - Configuration closes. I also think that something is missing, some dependency, some dll file, ...

Also i just installed the plugin on my laptop where MP 1.2.1 is running on win 7 x86 and plugin works just fine!
But still the problems on my HTPC persist and I don't know how to solve them!!!!

Hi again.

now i've got the plugin semi-working. I copied the xml file containing the configuration, from my laptop to my HTPC. Now when i enter tv-section in MP the TVserver wakes up. BUT now everytime i start MP a windows message pops up saying that MP stopped working. This is a little bit confusing because MP still works, i can tune to tv channels, listen to music, ... but always with this annoying error message on top. by the way this also occures on my laptop, i just didn't pay attention to that because i don't often use MP on my laptop and didn't think it was due to the plugin.

So now I know that:
1. the error message in my previous post is produced only by the configuration tool of the plugin
2. some error in the plugin lets windows think that MP stops working (although everything works fine)

Problem Solved!

Now the plugin is running like a charm. I just had to adjust the options in the plugin configuration (use IP adress instead of Domain) and now MP does not crash anymore.

So thank you all for your answers, especially Lehmden for the hint with the xml-file. Without that i would not have been able to get this thing to work.

Many thanks to the developers for this great plugin. The only downside (in my case) was the not at all easy installation!
