Dear community,
on the way to the release candidate version I've published version 0.5.3 including the following changes and additions:

• option to download the daylight image added
• enhancements to Test profile functionality
• internal load balancing feature for OpenStreetMap services added
• improvements to location detection in configuration dialog
• Add location wizard added
• bug fixing for random locations
• recent viewed locations added
• several performance tweaks, language files updated

Please test this version accordingly. In case you find bugs or regression issues, please post your results here.

Dear community,
please find at the well known places a new test version of WorldPlaces.
Due to the fact of missing user feedback or enhancement suggestions this version is declared as a "feature freeze version" (except my own branched features), means no big features or skin changes would be included until the final version have been released. Please report any bugs/glitches in the next few days, according to my planning the release candidate version should be released next weekend.

I'm trying to set this plugin up in PurevisionHD, but I don't see it in the editor to add to the basichome screen. I've installed/configured the plugin and copied over the skin files. Any ideas?

Hope you installed the latest skinfiles from post #14
You have to copy the content of the ZIP as is into the folder of PureVisionHD 1080 (overwrite).
After that you have to clean the skin cache (delete the folder PureVisionHD 1080 from C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache), then restart MP

I see what I did wrong now. I copied into the root of PureVisionHD, but it needed to be in the theme folder. Thank you! I have it working now.

Well, nice that it works - but it really should go into the root folder
But don´t worry, in the next days I´ll release a new version of PVHD, then it should work "out-of-the-box"
