    Hi.
Do you know a way to "cheat" google using another server, in this case google.de instead of your normal google server? Maybe this can help nailing this down, as my tests with cities all over the world are working normal...

hi , my google defualt set to english , i'm sure you corect ... but i don't think the sulotion is all users (non germany) will have to set the google setting to google.de .... It is a bug that Micropolis will have to check when he back from vecation ...let's live it like thet for now .... as can get weather for out of germany users for now ....:)

Re: WorldWeather plugin v0.2.5 for MediaPortal v1.2.0 or higher

I have the latest StreamedMp skin installed but when I go to the world weather plugin nothing displays. Am I being a complete tool?

It doesn't work at all for me either. Everything is blank. Everything is configured, but it isn't downloading the data or it isn't parsing it.

hi guys , there is a bug with some feilds in configartion , :
1- don't use city code. live empty.
2-don't use longitude and latitude , live them 0 .

...I'm in Italy and without longitude and latitude correct setting actual condition icon is wrong (night icon instead of daylight one)

    Hi.
Sure this is no solution but a point where Micropolis can start...
It could be an issue of running Windows in German language or an issue of Google.de. So if we can proof if it's google this should make things easier to solve...

Wellington or Auckland (New Zealand) doesn't work - so not all cities around the world works. I have set Wellington, Melbourne, Singapore, Hong Kong & Cupertino and only Melbourne works.

Guys, the problem with lat/long is not the weather location, it is with your OS regional settings. If you have a non English OS the decimal separator is a comma and works. But if your local settings use a period as a decimal it doesn't. This has been reported several times and Micropolis already said (way back in this thread) that he is aware of it, but will take time to find a solution.

Try ZDF.de - Startseite and search for "wetter" :)

BTW No matter if I use , or . as decimal separator in long/lat, both is working here...

Does InfoService support this plugin to show info at home screen? If it does, is there anything to be set in order for it to work?

    Hi.
No it dosn't. And as far as I know in next version the weather part will be removed from info service. But most, if not all, skins can be modified to use informations from worldweather plugin to show weather info on basic home. Just a few changes are needed. Lots of skins like Default, Pure Vision, StreamedMP, Backdrop,... are supporting this already. For backdrop as example I only had to change two lines in "common.time.xml". Modified skin files are available in this thread or in skin threads....

As example the backdrop (my skin) skin files are available here at page 12.

It has nothing to do with what you enter, please see this post from Micropolis. He later replied it proved more difficult and he had to postpone a fix until a later release.
