Re: WorldWeather plugin v0.2.5 for MediaPortal v1.2.0 or higher

It doesn't work at all for me either. Everything is blank. Everything is configured, but it isn't downloading the data or it isn't parsing it.

hi guys , there is a bug with some feilds in configartion , :
1- don't use city code. live empty.
2-don't use longitude and latitude , live them 0 .

save your change's .... and try again ..:)

this is notting to do with skin file .

That worked for me, thanks.

That did the trick. This community is great thanks for the help.

...and use state initials in city name. eg., Gloucester, MA

This is what the match is done on here in the States.

There is a conversion error in the Lat/Long code, so is sometimes best to leave them at 0. Some whole number entries will work, but not all. The author knows about it and will attack the issue when he gets back in a couple weeks. But for now, mostly working is gonna be better than not working at all.:)

    Hello,

Can the animated gifs "move" when you link the satellite image to it ?

I've tried with http://www1.buienradar.nl/radar/loop_nl_sat.gif but it stays on first image of the gif...

    Thank you

I found a solution by replacing
    <texture>#WorldWeather.ImageSatellite</texture> by
    <texture>http://www1.buienradar.nl/radar/loop_nl_sat.gif</texture>
    in WorldWeatherImage.xml.

Of course, the link in the plugin config for the satellite image will not be used anymore.

Can't confirm this issue. For me it's working as it should. See screenshot for my config.
The result you can see on second Scrennshot.
This works for every City I've added so far, all with lat/lon and city Code.

But all cities I added are in Germany, maybe this is a local problem...

    Hi
Could also be an issue of used Google Server. As Micropolis is in Germany too he for sure is using google.de as I do. AFAIK user can't change the used google- server.... If I go to google.com I always get redirected to google.de...

    Hi.
Do you know a way to "cheat" google using another server, in this case google.de instead of your normal google server? Maybe this can help nailing this down, as my tests with cities all over the world are working normal...
