Re: WorldWeather plugin v0.2.5 for MediaPortal v1.2.0 or higher

Its would be great if in the manual you'd tell us where we find "City Codes" as all i get from google is Post codes and in Australia that VERY different. What ever happened to simplicity, I don't have the time to spend 2-3 days just to setup the media centre software nor do i have the smarts to deal with it.

That's a good point, it took me a while to find the city code for Auckland. In the end I used the current built in weather plugin to find the code (it grabs it automatically). No doubt there are other ways to find the code too..

    Hi.
I've got the city codes from weather.com. Search your city, then the city code is in the url, similar to imdb's tt number. As I have to do this once per city only, so no big deal...

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, after 25 pages of reading, everything blurs together! I have got everything working with StreamedMP. Lokks good, better than the old built-in weather. However, my icons are incorrect for the time of day (moon showing in the day, sun showing at night). I have left latitude/longitude blank as suggested in this thread. Can I assume this is just a bug that will be sorted when Micropolis returns?

    Had exact the same problem...
The solution is simple, put in your coordinates (in decimal) and voilà... time of day/moonphases are correct.

BTW, it is mensioned on the config screen next to latitude/longitude...

    Cheers

This is not true. I have insert the correct lat/lon (54.09/12.14) for my home city, but the moon phase is not correct.

It doesn't show me the weather when I enter my coordinates. Anyone else with this?
