The translation property is fine! =)
But the skin designers maybe missing the property for Sun times image (#WorldWeather.ImageSuntime) in the documentation so they don't know how to display that image. Again, it's just a very minor thing. =)

The strings_sv.xml is placed in the User files Language\WorldWeather folder right next to the strings_en.xml and the otheres. What's weird is that some of the strings show up correctly in MediaPortal, so something weird's going on.

Translated to Swedish at the moment (maybe more strings are picked up, I'm just going by what's showing in MediaPortal right now as a reference):

• I have change the line <Language name="Svenska" characters="255"> to <Language name="Swedish" characters="255">
• string 70 was not terminated correctly, I have change this.

recall errors in the plugin WorldWeather. Unfortunately it has not yet been removed. I wrote about them Dec. 13, 2011 (page 36). These are:
1. Bad weather coding description below the icons for each day
2. Lack of space in the strength and direction of the wind
3. Swapped stories of sunrise and sunset

plugin version 0.3.3 (Nightly Build) language package and set the plugin attached.

WorldWeather plugin v0.3.0 for MediaPortal v1.2.0 or higher

Dear community,
a new build v0.3.3 was uploaded for testing purposes only, please use it at your own risk.

List of plugin related changes:

• new properties (#WorldWeather.LocationDate, #WorldWeather.LocationTime)
• configuration option to delete a profile
• rework and hardening of some weather wrapper routines

From my point of view, this is a feature-complete build for the upcoming version 0.3.5. Now I'll start a complete regression test, maybe a debugged version or a release candidate comes after christmas.

It's hard to reproduce this issue on my development machine. I suspect some codepage issues here. I made some changes to the weather provider wrapper, please test the output with latest build. If this doesn't work again, I suggest to use the properties #WorldWeather.TodayWindSpeed and #WorldWeather.TodayWindDirection instead of #WorldWeather.TodayWind. Regarding weather coding description you can use #WorldWeather.TodayIconDescription or #WorldWeather.ForecastDay<digit>IconDescription alternatively. Please see the included manual for more information.

I too show sunrise and sunset times as one hour late.

I don't know exactly, where I can start with analyzing. The whole content for time zones comes from managed .NET routines. During my test, I had select "(UTC-08:00) Pacific Time", this gives me a UTCSpan result of -480 (and not -420 as you posted here). Could you tell me, which OS do you use and which .NET release do you have installed?

There are 2 major changes planned after v0.3.5: integration of coverflow/filmstrip view to display weather images and wrapper support for Yahoo as 2nd weather provider.
