Hi,

I just did a fresh install:

- Deinstall MP
- Double check MP folder is empty
- Reboot
- Install RC1
- Install SVN (found it in three different ones)
- Configure
- Add music folders and select icon view
- Save and leave config
- Start MP and go to my music - the folders are shown as list

Thanks
Harald

    Hi,
This also works here, remember only the folder you add are shown as icon view, not @ top level(that view are still list with your cd player etc) & if you select another view then Shares then those have own settings.

    Regards

    Hi,

    hmm, real magic.

I added two shares called V:\ and W:\ as Filme and Filme2 after a fresh install. I declared Icon View on both shares.

After that I entered MP and switched to My videos. Both shares were shown in one list and all subfolders were shown as lists as well. I changed to Icon view and from that time I see Icon view.

This is different on your machine? I give up.

    Harald

    Hi,
Yup this works fine here, i use local folder(main music) & a shared network folder. I always set local to Big Icons & The shared to Icon & they show up as that.
But i'm not setting towards a whole hdd like W:\, maybe thats different(can't test that now but will check)?

    Regards
    Roy

    Hi,

    thanks for your answer.

Wait - I will check again. I didn't see the difference between local and shared files. For me both are resource with different icons ;-)

    Let me check again first.

    Thanks
    Harald
