Hi,

Yes sorry fro the lack of information, you are right, execute WTV_LAV_x86.reg to associate LavFilter to wtv and run install.* batch file, it will register LAV filter in your windows.
If the register failed (it's because some microsoft files are needed) you can try last installer here : http://files.1f0.de/lavf/LAVFilters-0.42.exe.
About screenshot : this is a attached example.

That did the trick! I manually ran the .reg and .bat files (did not need to run the .exe posted above) and now WTV files will play. Thanks to everyone for your help!

Good to know no need to start .exe if the register of batch files works
Remember that with lav for playing wtv, we can't use mpc-hc engine subtitle otherwise it crash (a fix is needed)

in order to play wtv on any meida player or portable device, a recommended solution is convert wtv to a more popular video format like convert wtv to avi, wmv, mp4, mov, vob, flv, asf, mpg and etc
