wwitv cannot play .ram and .mov streams (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I would like to know if anyone of you can watch all the TV channels listed on the wwitv plugin in MP. There are a lot of channels on wwitv.com which can be watched with Real PLayer or Quick Time. None of these i can watch via MP. I have downloaded the Real Player Alternative and Quick Time alternative but no luck. I am wondering if these plugins are maybe only for watching .ram and .mov files from local HDD maybe its not posible to be watched via Internet.

Please advise so i will not waste my time trying to fix something which is not posible...

i believe the real alternative plugin is for local files only.. ie NOT for streaming media.

don't know about the quicktime one though.

So conclusion:

All channels on wwitv.com which requires Real Time or Quick Time to be watched cannot be watched via Media Portal.

Is this correct?

because this is my first post, i would like to thank for this great project.
i also would like to know what about ram streams.
is there a solution to watch it.
and how to ad to favorites?

at the moment ram stream cannot be played as far as i know. this is the reason why i added the extensions in the new version so you can recognice them.

You can add favorites to wwitv plugin ( channels ). I also made a new system so you can also add countries/ categories to your favorites. But it is at the moment in test so if you want to test is sent me a pm with your email.

I also recommend to post at the wwitv forum topic so more people maybe can answer your questions there.
