I have installed xface onto 1.1.2, and it is my preferred skin, however, on the front page, I see
#infoservice.weather.today.mintemp | #infoservice.weather.today.maxtemp
on looking at the infoservice log file, I see it is complaining about infoservice.xml
I cannot see that in the skin\xface folder, but if I copy one from another skin, the error from the info service does stop, but I get do change on the home screen.
anyone got an infoservice.xml file that works, or let me know what lines I can add to get this feature working

Ah ha, seems that was just a red herring
a search for infoservice.weather and I see it is in the home.xml files
changing the line to simply be temp shows the temp
I guess I now need to look and see if infoservices uses min / max temps these days
