I have MP humming pretty well. But no guide yet.
I've run and configured XMLTV and created the config file. I created the online account with password. I run xmltv and it asks for username and password and it downloads a lot of data.
It then does a long process - in the command prompt window with "program start" - and lots of program data, actors etc.
This total takes about 3-4 minutes - download and process.
So where is the tvguide.xml file located? I look in the boot (where I'm executing xmltv.exe) and no new files other than my tv_grab_na_dd.conf file. Where are the downloaded and processed files?
thanks
I see a TVguide-writing.xml (will this turn into a TVguide.xml in time?)
I've read this but very outdated.
http://mediaportal.wikispaces.com/Setting+up+WebEPG
I still found I had it setup as that doc stated.
EXCEPT - I'm uing mp 1.1.0.0
I don't believe the stand along programs are still used? (all in MP now)?
Here is what I have thus far.
