Wow... amazing how perseverance can pay off. Thank you, thank you thankyou!!! I'm going to add this troubleshooting advice to the thread about Zap2it ending. And here's my totally useless story just because I feel like I need to write it down. I'm not a power TV guy. I've got basic basic cable with about 13 channels... No digital... no HD... But, I wanted a TV guide so I could do some timer recordings and I love MP for viewing online videos. But for crying out loud how hard can it be to set up a simple TV guide? I must have tried 6 or 8 different programs/setups to get a working TV guide before I finally found the Zap2it plugin that worked. I was very happy. Then, Zap2it pussed out and stopped service. I was dismayed!!! I found the thread here on media portal explaining how to use the new Yahoo service to work with MP and I followed all directions exactly but nothing worked... I tried for a WEEK!!! Finally, I found this thread. The fix seemed dubious but what the hell? What do I have to lose at this point? I renamed the file you say that you deleted... then I followed all the directions to get things set up and... Lo and behold!!! like magic!!! My guide is back!!! Woo Hoo.:thx:
