I'm a newbie, just installed mediaportal, thought this was the best plugin. Too bad it doens't work on my install, it doesn't play anything and freezes up mediaportal, with no other plugins. Using the latest version of MP. Any thoughts someone?

I made a new version, with a major change : customizable start page. add support for VEVO too
I need some testing and idea for new start page items

please change your installation rotuine for youtube.fm.

I have seen you install in Blu3wide this is ok but you install in MP/Skin/[default]. This is bad you overwrite the youtubevideosbase.xml in all Skins.

The same applies to the hover_logo!!!

H'i dukus, Thanks for this fantastic plugin, i'm using ver 0.5.9.4 with Black Glass Nova Skin 1.3.0
Is there a way back to the start page, after selecting a few songs to play,and moving away from the start page
Can't seem to find how to get back there , nothing in options

I have seen you install in Blu3wide this is ok but you install in MP/Skin/[default]. This is bad you overwrite the youtubevideosbase.xml in all Skins.

The same applies to the hover_logo!!!

The installation overwrite only the older files that are in package, in this way the screen files are compatible with plugin.

Ok, that you can make but please only Blue3Wide and not in the default Skin. you can not your .xml for Blue3Wide copy in any Skin Dir and overwrite his own File, sorry but this is not good.

Changes with the Logo are great.

I'm probably being a total dufus here but...

Can you search for a video with this plugin?
If so, how?

I have it playing videos beutifully but i can only select videos from the standard categorys i.e. most watched, best rated, etc etc. I've used this plugin for years and i thought i used to be able to search for videos.

Mrbougles, you can search, there is a search button in the menu

Dukus i was wondering, is it possible to use normal virtual keyboard in the code? I think you force SMS keyboard? If you use normal keyboard, it would be still replaced with SMS one if user chooses so in MediaPortal configration, no?

Also, #selecteditem for similar videos in now playing screen is not initialized correctly. You have to move one item then it gets filled.
