New version (0.6.2.0) still BETA, for download and changelog see first page.
The playback should be more errorless. In now playing will show similar artist to, but this need some skin changes.

In configuration you can export/import artist list.

I want to improve the initial artist database, but for this i need some help, so i need some artist export file, it is simple just export artist from configuration and post the file in this forum or send me via email.

Another thing in next version i will remove the old start page, so some idea to improve new one it is welcomed. THX

I guess it is the XML-file you are looking for? Like this one?

I don't know what was changed in the latest YouTube.fm plugin, but when I installed it, it replaced my existing skinfiles youtubeinfo.xml and youtubevideosbase.xml...

And this was NOT for Blue3Wide but a custom skin...

Good thing I had a backup!

Sorry for that, i forgot to set it for never overwrite, i will fix this behave in next release. But if you uninstall the plugin the overwrote files will be restored.

Thanks for all the updates but I am struggling to get any of them working...

I am using 1.2 Alpha so not sure if that's the problem, will I need to use the latest svn.

The problem i get is when I enter the pluggin with old style or new style I get no list of any artists or songs(even after selecting a option when entering with old style screen) I have tried with 3 different skins including blue wide and on 2 different pc's.
Also if i do a search it doesn't find anything and just sits on the on screen keyboard after pressing ok.
With the older versions i get the videos appear but unable to play, mediaportal just freezes when I try to play and have to kill mp via task manager.
You tube works fine via online videos just not with this pluggin, I will post logs if needed but just wanted to make sure about which version of mp its meant for.

hey guys,

still a bit of a noob with mp but already a lot of things are working. but i cannot get youtube working. streamed videos plugin works fine, when i open the youtube plugin i can get a list of videos but non of then will play. i use streamedmp and its on a xp pc

I have a problem which I posted to the google project pages so apologies if that wss not the correct thing to do. Every time I run some Youtube movies via YoutubeFM e.g. The Micheal Jackson Thriller Video which is the first to come up on a search I get the attached error. The file still plays behind the error but I have to press OK a number of times for the error message to close. Odd thing is that this was not happening a week ago and the only change I have made was to add Intelligent Frame Correction. I have removed that and I am still getting the error. A pointer in the correct direction would be great - is this a codec issue of something else creating an error?
