Dukus,

I have the latest version of MP and StreamedMP theme. Youtube.fm (I have the latest alpha as well) plays awesome as usual when I pick videos from the lists like billboard etc. However when I go search for a video, say, "PITBULL" and save them in a playlist or run them directly - they don't play. For every video item, I set a message "unable to playback the item !". However these videos do exist on youtube and they play online - tested.

Hi Dodz , yes we know ,have a problem with youtube web , they keep changing thing's with there web ....
Dukus already fix some things but still they keep change things in the web ... (i have new build that most things was fix , but in the pass few days again some bugs come up again ... ) only thing we can do ,is wait a little more time ,so the youtube guys will stop with there change ... so Dukus can update the plugin ...
in the mean time i work on the new skin file for MP 1.3.0A (with the new DW skin) ....

Not working here either. I can find the same videos in Onlinevideos and get them to play so I'm fairly certain all my codecs are in order. Not sure what else to try.

Hey I really love this extension, great work!

I am wondering though... is it possible to view and play videos from youtube subscriptions?

I can play from my playlists, but I would also like to be able to browse videos and play for users who I subscribe to

Is it possible?

Youtube will never stop changing their site so if u doing this type of plugin, parsing their site etc, u need to update it often or make the plugin more dynamic to their changes. And I cant get this plugin to work with streamedmp-skin, I can launch it from the plugins menu, but trying to add it on the front menu is a no-go.

regards to add the plugin to streamedmp skin , look for the file "youtubevideosbase.xml" in the editor ,and it will be add to front menu.

Why aren't You using the Youtube API?

hi scma , sure we use there API also LastFM + we scrap artist fanart from htbackdrops , .... not just youtube web is linked ...
i know ,Dukus a little busy this days , but we wont to update the plugin soon as MP 1.3.0.A will be out ... hope will be soon ...

while I appreciate that it's difficult to develop for more than one version at once, most of us won't be running a alpha version in our living-room. Please fix bugs for the stable version.
