A few days ago newly added videos in 'my subscriptions' gave the 'no url' error. A few hours later they would work fine.
Since yesterday no video in Youtube will play, all giving the 'no url' error. I haven't changed anything in MP or OV and the logfile shows the aforementioned error: 'The protocol is not supported'

I have the exact same problem.

However, not all Videos are effected by this (see attached logs). Interestingly enough, all videos by every single member of "The Yogsacast" won't play while all my other subs are fine.

    Any Ideas?

As you both didn't post a full set of logs, I can't know for sure, but I guess if you update the "MP IPTV and Url Sourcr Splitter" Extension to latest version (which supports https) you will get of this problem.

Thank you for your quick reply. I've updated the Source Splitter to the newest version (2.1.12.5638), unfortunatley this dosn't fix the problem. I've added a full set of logs this time. Hope this helps. I would be grateful for any help you are able to provide.

Still the same here after the update. Have attached full logfiles this time.

It's the dreaded "System.ArgumentException: The protocol is not supported." again for https.
Current version of OV doesn't allow https urls.

Edit: this has nothing to do with MPUrlSourceSplitter, it's an issue with the onlinevideos plugin

a workaround is to play it with another player.
I have e.g. vlc installed, so whenever i encounter this error, i choose another player (under 'play with')
