No... :D (JOKE!!! Everything's fine) You're welcome - as usual :) Yes, order is OK now, but it still behaves somewhat strange. I guess, it's not mainly a coding, but rather a problem of the display's latency. What I experience is something, I would call a flickering effect - I am running out of vocabulary it seems - better have a look at the videos I attached - I am quite sure you'll understand what I mean. The effect is best visible when switching the decay on :) Important: I didn't move or shake the camera - the moving effects you can see are originally displayed on the MR300 like shown in the videos... EEEEK! That complicated??? The BASS doesn't provide volume / amplitude values? A pity! Evenmore the signal obviously is a pre fader signal which isn't really suitable for setting up a real VU meter tho... Anyway - nice new stuff in the display driver :) Talking the horizontal VU meter style EQ - what about a little R and a little L in front of the the peak? And what about something like a maximum peak memory display, where the maximum peak level remains for some time as a single | ... :) would then look like: L |||||||||||||||||| | R |||||||||||||||| | oops... that probably wouldn't work with just eight custom characters if not you define the characters for the left and right maximum peak on the fly whenever it changes - I assume you need 5 custom characters to display the current peak level... and if this display was a color display and the data you get wouldn't be a pre fader reprsentation... well! :D OK - I am demanding - shame on me...
